CBD patches are easy to use, just like a plaster, and a discreet way to get CBD in your system over a prolonged period. The patches are small, thin, and transparent with a dotted grid and "15mg" or "30mg" printed on each (see image).
Their transdermal application allows CBD to be absorbed slowly over a long time (12-36 hours). You can choose any area of the body that is free from hair like the outside of the upper arm, the inside of the wrist or your back.

CBD Brothers - aka The Original Alternative
Known as the oldest producer of cannabis extracts in the UK, the CBD Brothers (aka The Original Alternative), started life in a small one-car garage. Initially, they aimed to create small amounts of oils and lotions for use by their family and neighbours. As their products became popular, they found that they needed more space. Now they are located in a purpose-built, off-grid facility in Suffolk.
They are unique in that you can choose CBD products made with Indica, Sativa or hybrid hemp varieties. Each has a different balance of cannabinoids and terpenes, giving you a greater choice over composition.
Their hemp is grown organically on small farms in Guernsey with no pesticides or artificial fertilisers. Plants grown to produce the Silver, White, Red, and Black Editions are grown under lights, and those that go into the Green, Blue, and Purple Editions are grown outside in the sunlight until they are ready to be handpicked and dried. The Gold Edition is grown in their Guernsey greenhouse.
To ensure they only produce products of the highest quality, CBD Brothers uses CO2 extraction under low heat and low-pressure conditions. The resulting extracts contain a rich mix of cannabinoids, terpenes, flavonoids, and essential fatty acids.
They are the first to admit that the nature of natural extracts means there may be slight differences from batch to batch, but with the use of third-party lab testing, they maintain impressive standards. The analysis is administered by two independent companies who use state of the art high pressured liquid chromatography (HPLC) machines to detect the contents of each sample.
As of 2022, CBD Brothers have an active Novel Foods application with the Food Standards Agency. This ensures that their supplements can remain on sale legally in the UK.
Ingredients
15mg or 30mg of CBD isolate per patch extracted from organically cultivated hemp Sativa.
The patch is made using 0.102 mm clear FT-200 polyethylene and uses an acrylic co-polymer pressure-sensitive adhesive.

Suggested use
Use one patch for 12-36 hours of slow-release CBD.
- Choose an area on your upper arm, wrist or back that is free from hair, clean, and dry.
- Remove the protective backing from the patch and apply it to the desired area.
- Hold in place firmly for 5 seconds.
- Remove after 12-36 hours.
Who are CBD Brothers patches suitable for?
CBD patches are suitable for beginners and those who do not like the process or taste of other more common products such as CBD oils and CBD vape oils. They are the only product suited for all-day use and complement other products that are usually taken in the morning or evening.

How much CBD is good for me?
We are all different, so there’s no standard amount of CBD one should take. Start with 1 patch per day for the first week and increase to 2 patches in a 24-hour period if the desired effect is not achieved. Like with all CBD products, some experimentation is required to find your ideal serving size.
In all cases, do not exceed 70mg of CBD per day.
